The Asics Gel-Lyte V, from the MODERN PATCHWORK Pack, draws inspiration from the Japanese concept of boro. They reimagined the traditional patch and repair technique by mixing Okayama Denim and a nylon flight jacket material for the upper. The tooling retains its wavy design from when it first hit the running marking in 1993 and it also features GEL technology in the rearfoot for everyday comfort.
